Many have said Dave's greatest strength lies in his ability to communicate. Dave has given well over one thousand presentations on practical life topics, taught numerous seminars, and facilitated healthy discussion and communication for hundreds of groups, including mediation for corporate directors . Dave's style of communication is comfortable, professional, dynamic, clear, interesting, and down-to-earth. Dave is known for his ability to take complex information and distill it to simple, usable information that works, while at the same time captivating and moving the hearts of his listeners.

Dave has walked through crisis with many who have hurt. His compassion flows in such a way that hurts are eased, and healing is begun. The seasoned wisdom from his own life, as well as that gained from helping so many through the years, serves to soften his approach, and wins the hearts of those he helps.
Dave the Person
Dave is all about authenticity. "Shallow" and "plastic" simply will not do when dealing with real life. He has personally come through some deep trenches dealing with his own family, extended family, and personal loss. Life is a wonderful teacher, including our mistakes. As they say, "Good judgment comes from experience, and experience comes from bad judgment."
Dave values inside-out growth. True change happens from the inside out, and encompasses both internal learning and external action. A purposeful focus on action is necessary in producing true change, and learning is essential as that which shapes the internal perspectives, beliefs, and values which drive the action.
Dave planted and pastored a church for 19 years, and has been a General Manager in a Canadian business for 10 years. What people have come to appreciate most are his compassionate coaching, practical teaching, and effective leadership. Problem solving in organizations is Dave's specialty.
Dave earned his Bachelors degree from Biola University in 1980, his Masters Degree from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1984, and received his Life Coach training from the Institute for Life Coach Training.
