Types of Coaching
Leadership is a lonely place. Clergy members find this especially true. With a reputation to uphold and a ministry to protect, where does a minister find a confidential place to process the trials and temptations of ministry, without fear of repercussions? So, how do we solve this? Clergy CoachingAs a fellow
Minister, Dave understands the need for a completely confidential place
to process issues with a person who is not connected with a minister's
church or denomination. In some cases, Clergy Coaching can help to avert
the type of the devastating personal failures that can deeply damage a
minister and a ministry. Positively, Clergy Coaching can facilitate
continued personal development as ministers overcome blind spots and
move forward. How it WorksClergy coaching
consists of a one hour phone conversation every week or two in order to
provide direction, accountability, and confidential problem solving and
personal growth. The coach asks the hard questions, gives proven
direction, and provides a confidential place for a pastor to vent and
process issues with a seasoned pastor who has walked the same road.
